Parashift/Banking/Payment & Remittance Orders
Banking · Use-Case

Payment and remittance orders, processed automatically.

Payment orders reach banks as paper or fax documents, e-banking uploads, SWIFT MT101/MT103 messages, or ISO 20022 pain.001 files. Parashift extracts IBAN, amount, value date, and reference in structured form, screens every order against sanctions lists automatically, and hands it off to the core banking system once cleared.

The process today

A dozen formats, one screening process per order.

Payment and remittance orders reach banks in wildly different formats: paper and fax orders from retail customers, e-banking uploads and ISO 20022 pain.001 files from ERP systems, SWIFT MT101 bulk orders and MT103 remittance orders from corporate clients, plus standing-order changes and direct-debit mandates. Every order has to be screened against sanctions lists and anti-money-laundering rules before execution — today largely through manual retyping and four-eyes checks, which turns tight value dates into a time risk and raises the error rate on IBAN capture.
